• Five high school students will compete live before a panel of judges and a community audience to solve a financial literacy case study and demonstrate their knowledge of the principles of wealth creation. Three will win an all-expense-paid trip to represent the 100 Black Men of Greater Kansas City chapter at the 100 Black Men of America’s National Conference June 4-8, 2025, in New Orleans, LA.
• Following a six-week simulated stock market competition during which students received $100,000 virtual dollars to invest, 1st (500), 2nd ($300), and 3rd ($200) place winners will be announced based on which students generated the highest return on their portfolio.
• Three financial literacy essay contest winners will be named. 1st ($1,000), 2nd ($500), and 3rd ($250) place cash prizes will be awarded.
